Ledge Light Health District lifted the swim advisory for Main Beach at Nehantic after recent water tests met state safety standards. The beach was placed under advisory on May 22, 2025, following routine sampling that showed elevated bacteria levels. A follow-up test conducted yesterday confirmed the water is now safe for swimming.
