On Tuesday, October 18, 2013, the East Lyme Police Department arrested an individual on Back Point property who does have a criminal history of burglary.
The arrest was the result of an Association member observing suspicious activity and calling the police department. The person arrested spent the night in the Montville jail and will most likely not return to Black Point.
If you want to walk on our beaches, do so before this weekend as the sand harvesting is scheduled for the week of November 11th. Hopefully, the “Nor’easters” will leave us alone this winter!
I wish all of you an enjoyable, healthy, safe winter, and look forward to everyone returning in the spring. Now it’s time for me to start preparing and planning for the spring and summer of 2014.
