I have just heard that the data center study bill could go either way in the House and we only have 24 hours left. We are being urged to call Matt Ritter (Speaker of the House ) and Jason Rojas ( House Majority Leader).
They both have the same phone number 860-240-8585. It takes 3 minutes!
When you call they will answer “house democrats”. Ask for Matt Ritter and they will transfer you most likely to a voicemail of his staff. Leave your name and address, and urge him to bring SB 299 to a vote and support it as we need to know the effect data centers will have on the power grid and that we do not want our electric bills to increase. Then call back and ask for Jason Rojas and leave a similar message.
