Men’s Club September 20th, 2026, Men’s Club Update

Congratulations to the 2026 Championship Team of: Stephanie Brandon, Lil Diachenko, Paul Vozzella and Tom Sheehan. Both Tom and Paul are previous champions but the fantastic play of Stephanie and Lil brought another victory.

Special thanks goes to our Commissioner, Sherri  Weiss and her regular assistant Kathy Walsh for running weekly matches. Thank you Lil Diachenko for updating stats and schedules on a weekly basis and Dave Twedt for keeping our finances up to date. Thanks also to Skip Guzzi and his team for resurfacing and prepping to Bocce Court, Thank you Sherri for preparing the banquet! And thank you players for making this a great season. Please note that all winning team pictures have been updated and are posted at the ClubHouse.

Finally, we tried something new this year. An MVP was voted on by all the active players at the banquet. The 2026 MVP was Lil Diachenko. Congratulations!

The 2026 Cardboard Boat Race hit new records for ingenuity and effort. All types of vessels from: Bathtubs, Rubber Ducks, Bananas, a British War Ship and even the return of Elvis. Again this year we have seen finishers who struggled in previous years, coming at the top of the finishers.

Bon Voyage Celebration – Friday, 25Sep26 – ClubHouse 6 PM 

The intent here is to have a party for those leaving us and going West or South. This will be a free event! If you are not going anywhere, come too and let’s party. We ask that all attendees bring some kind of food, dessert or Hors D’oeuvres to share. Bring your own beverages!  We will have music and a few practice rounds of Music Era Trivia to get ready for this event to be rescheduled soon, hopefully in October!
