New Year’s Plunges
Midnight at BP brought heavy snow but the tradition continued with Lil and me at the Beach,
Our Grandson Jaxson and some of his sailing friends made the dip at NBYC at 10:30 a.m.
The largest swim was the plethora of crazies on Sea Breeze Beach at noon.
With this start, it will be an exciting year!
PS: According to an online inquiry – Niantic Bay Water Temperature was about 41 degrees F.
Christmas Decorations
Today is Little Christmas, and unfortunately the end of the Christmas season. We hope you enjoyed the lighted Christmas trees at Main Beach and the ClubHouse Tennis Court as well as the lights at the Billow and Woodlawn entrances. However, they will need to be dismantled and saved as much as possible for future years.
The weather forecast is cooperating with Thursday, 08Jan26 as sunny and a warm 42 degrees. We are asking for help from a few volunteers to meet at 1 PM at Nehantic to help save the lights, bring the beach trees to the curb for pickup and put away the wreaths and artificial Christmas tree. Mother Nature or Neptune claimed one of the three beach trees before Christmas to make our job a bit easier!

Saturday, March 29, 2026 – Contractor Appreciation Dinner
Jim Moffett asked the BPMC to sponsor a contractor appreciation dinner in March. These people do a lot of work to keep our beaches and properties updated. Not too many.places say thank you and we thought we’d be that beach community.
The BPMC Executive Committee agreed to help. This dinner will be open to BPMC Members and their spouses at a very reasonable price. Seating is limited so contact Jim Moffett if you wish to attend’
