As we start to roll into September, the time has come to start putting the swim buoys and boat floats away for the winter. This activity will start after Labor Day and timing may be impacted by weather events out of our control. The Nehantic Boat Float will stay in place as long as possible as its location is somewhat protected. The float at the boat ramp may be removed as early as Tuesday, September 5 so please plan accordingly.
Those with dinghys, kayaks, and paddleboards on the beaches at Sea View and Osprey, please keep an eye on the weather as wind, waves, and high tide can quickly get up to no good. If you’re winding down your visits to Black Point, please make an effort to come collect your waterfront toys.
