The hard courts at the clubhouse will be refurbished shortly. The scheduled start date is Tuesday, September 2.
Assume that the courts will be closed through September 12. We are hoping the work will be completed sooner, but it is weather dependent so plan for the worst and celebrate the best!
If you haven’t heard, the hard courts will be refurbished to address areas of deterioration. Also, the courts will be reconfigured to provide 4 dedicated pickle ball courts on the east side and leaving the one dedicated tennis court on the west side. A dividing screen will be hung to separate the two spaces. This new arrangement will eliminate the confusion of the various lines and provide more space over run at the ends of the pickleball courts when the existing four court layout is in service.

This project was budgeted at $32,000 and paid for from the capital line in the 2025-2026 annual budget as approved at the Annual Membership Meeting in May 2025. Members Skip Guzy and Michael Walsh have been instrumental in designing this shared solution and securing a contractor that can execute the project in our budget. Peter Baril and Dominick Reis have provided additional support through the Board of Governors to see this project through.
