Good news!!

The construction of the boat launch restoration has started.
After months of surveys and engineering drafts, the shovels are in the ground.
The precast forms are made and concrete poured into them and they are curing on the boat beach.
Machnik construction will recap the north and south wing walls and replace the hinge at this time, while the heavy equipment is on site.
This is an add on project that was recommended we perform now while the construction is in process.
I have told Mr Tom Machnik that we want the project complete by Memorial Day. He assured me that was his goal also.
We are waiting for the COP from Ct DEEP for the wing walls, however Docko Inc, did get a verbal okay, so I do not expect a delay.
Tides and weather are factors when working in the water, but Mr. Machnik wasn’t concerned that either would cause much of a delay.
The site will have heavy equipment on it over the next few weeks, so please use caution when down in that area.
If you have thoughts or concerns about the construction project, feel free to contact me.
