Women's Club News

The Black Point Women's Club begins its 54th year with a summer Social and Business Meeting on July 7 at 7pm at the Black Point Clubhouse. For 53 years the Black Point Women's Club has provided an opportunity for the women of Black Point Beach Club to meet and socialize weekly during the months of July and August and to support local civic projects. Current officers are: President Maribeth Stone, 1st Vice-president Roberta Jordan, 2nd Vice-president Carolyn Boyle, Secretary Pat Campion, and Treasurer Sheila Armour.

The Black Point Women's Club is planning the following programs for the 2009 summer.  Please note corrected dates.

 July 17 – Wine Tasting by Joe and Lynn Kiah of Village Package Store in Niantic

July 21 – Kristan Mastromarino will demonstrate organizational techniques

July 28 – Miss Manners (Marisa Mills) -  presentation on etiquette in the 21^st Century

August 4 -  Business meeting and Jewelry Show by Denise Peretz

August 11 – Bunco Night

August 18 – Annual Dinner and Meeting at the Dock&Dine in Old Saybrook

 No meeting on July 14 because of the July 17 Wine Tasting which is a Friday.  $10 pp at the door.

New members are always welcome.
