Black Point Beach Clubhouse - Sunset Avenue, Niantic, CT
1. Attendance and Establishment of a Quorum
Members Present: Marianne O’Neil, Randy Molloy, John Manuck, Steven Reed and John Sullivan
Members Absent: Edward Cosgrove, Brian Ewings and James Moffett.
Charles Beckham, Zoning Enforcement Officer was also absent.
Chairperson O’Neil opened the meeting at 9: AM and appointed alternates Molloy,Manuck and Reed to sit in as voting members and declared a quorum was present.
2. Announcements and Public Comments
Chairperson O’Neil reported that the revised regulations have been filed with the Town Clerk of East Lyme and are now on the Black Point website.
There were no public comments.
3. Approval of the Minutes of the August 10, 2007 Special Meeting
A motion to accept the minutes was made by Randy Molloy and seconded by John Manuck. The motion passed unanimously.
4. Report of the Zoning Enforcement Officer, including commission action as required.
The report was reviewed and required no commission action.
5. Old Business
There was no old business
6. New Business
John Manuck asked if there would be an opportunity for the newly appointed members to be briefed on the zoning regulations. Chair person O’Neil mentioned that in the past, regulations were reviewed for new members and that could be done over the next several meetings. The decision was made to discuss the Definitions section of the regulations at the October meeting.
Chairperson O’Neil also reviewed potential dates for regular meetings for the 2007-2008 year. That will be discussed and voted on at the next meeting.
7. Next Meeting
The next regular meeting will be on October 20, 2007 at 10:00 in the Clubhouse.

9. A motion to adjourn was made by Randy Molloy, seconded by John Manuck and passed unanimously. The meeting adjourned at 9:25
