-Suzanne Johnson, 35 Seacrest read a letter concerning a cease and desist order issued by the Zoning Enforcement Officer. This will be discussed at the Zoning Commission.
-Also present to represent the Johnsons was Attorney Thor Holth.
-Carol Ward, 23 Blue Heron Road, inquired as to why she hasn't received a reply to her correspondence to the Board of Governors. Chairman replied that this has been referred to the Zoning Board.
-Phillip Lombardo of East Shore Drive inquired as to the relationship between the various Boards. It was noted that the Board of Governors appoints the zoning boards but has no authority to direct their activities.
5. Correspondence:
Mr. McKirdy highlighted the following letters that were received:
-Kathleen Vannino, 64 East Shore Road requested status of her request concerning the ROW at Sea Spray. It was noted that a reply had been sent and must have crossed in the mail with this correspondence. With respect to her inquiry about weekly mowings, the Association Manager reported that weekly mowings do occur in the summer months.
-A letter was read from the EAST LYME PUBLIC TRUST FOUNDATION acknowledging the Boards donation to the Town Overlook (Boardwalk). There will be an Inauguration ceremony July 15, 2005 at 1:30 P.M. On Saturday, July 16 there will be a public celebration in East Lyme with music, food and fun from 3 to 9 P.M. culminating in fireworks.
-The Manager submitted a letter from Mary Beth Chinsky, daughter of member Jean Giannamore, requesting permission to have an ALEX Lemonade Stand during the July 4th celebration. She will supply stand and all necessary ingredients. This is a charitable activity to raise funds for a cure for childhood cancers. It was agreed to have the stand located at the clubhouse after the Parade. The Manager will inform the requestor.
6. Chairperson's Report
Responses from residents on Sea Spray to the possible sale of the South Trail have been favorable. Responses from residents on Sea View and Sea Crest to the possible sale of the stub have been mixed.
